Gold Canyon MCX Claims; 21 Cells including; Tenure 1113532 (2 cells), 1113487 (1 cell), 1116651 (3 cells), 1116054 (5 cells), 1113498 (1 cell), 1113500 (1 cell), 1113504 (1 cell), All GTD: 2029/May/14. 1126651 (2 cells) GTD: 2026/Sep/29, and 1126472 (5 cells). GTD: 2026/Sep/26. 2 Minfile reports included the Gold Canyon MF 082FNW272, and the Arnie Flats MF 082FNW297. The Gold Canyon MF is located just 5.25Km SW of the prolific Tillicum Developed Prospect. In 1997 a drill indicated reserve of 474,640 tonnes averaging 9.6 gpt Au with a total possible resource of 1,063,220 tonnes averaging 8.9gpt Au with a cut-off grade of 5.1gpt Au was reported (Assessment Report 25004) for the Tillicum property. In the history of the area in 1982 included 1128m of diamond drilling in 16 holes on the Meino-Honey zone, 8 holes on the East Ridge zone, and 3 holes on the Jenny zone. And in 1983 a 60.9m crosscut adit was cut into the East Ridge zone and further geochemical and trenching was carried out. Drilling in 1983 included 38 holes and a total of 2319m. Another 60m adit was driven in the upper Heino-Money zone in 1984, and 5 more drill holes on the East Ridge zone. In 1986 another 25 surface Diamond drill holes of 835.5m and nine underground diamond drill holes totalled 176.8m. Underground development by this time included 5 levels at elevations of 2112, 2130, 2148, 2160, and 2171m on the Heino-Money zone. In 1989 10 more diamond drill holes of 1437.6m was completed on the East Ridge Zone. More work continued in 1997, 2001, 2002, 2008-2014 where AMT, Ibex, 1330275 Ontario Limited including geochem sampling, trenching, a ground EM survey, geological mapping, and remote sensing analysis of the Area. Gold is generally associated with pyrrhotite, pyrite, arsenopyrite, galena, and sphalerite. Of great interest structurally the Heino-Money zone is offset by a series of left-lateral steep angle, northeast striking faults with displacements of up to 9m. Within a 500m radius of the the Heino-Money zone, three other significant mineralized zones have been discovered at the Tillicum property. These include the East Ridge, the Jenny, and the Blue zone.

For the Gold Canyon MF Massive sulphide mineraled skarn and/or replacement setting. Au is correlated with pyrite, pyrrhotite and arsenopyrite much like at the Tillicum property. The discovery was made in 2000 building an access road. Additional work occurred in 2003-2005. In 2003 6 short diamond drill holes had drill intercepts including; 2.12m – 37.58gpt Au, 180.3gpt Ag, plus 1.12m with 70gpt Au, plus 236gpt Ag, + significant Pb + Zn was reported (Exploration + Mining BC, p.38).

The Arnie-Flats MF occurence is on a west striking ridge where the sulphide mineralization consists of pyrrhotite, argentite, or tetrahedrite and trends E-NE with a SW moderate Dip. Alteration minerals includes ; epidote, quartz, and chlorite. In 1984 trench samples included; 260.5gpt Ag, and 0.69gpt Au. In 1989 diamond drilling intercepts included; 0.10-0.79gpt Au, + 42.7-178.1gpt Ag, over lengths of 0.91m + 2.74m respectively (ARIS 26847). Additional work included 1979, 1980, 1982, 1984, 1989 (5 drill holes >1000m strike length), 1997, 2001, 2002, 2008-2014, and 2020.

This author believes that the mineral occurence at the Gold Canyon MCX claim is likely an extension of the Tillicum occurence, located as close as 5Km NE of the Gold Canyon Minfile. And the presence of the drill intercepts recorded in the Arnie-Flats Minfile is evidence of the later statement. The distance between the Gold Canyon and Arnie-Flats Minfiles is 3.9Km.
